The GIRF Foundation Board

The Foundation Board of the Gastro-Intestinal Research Foundation works year-round to raise funds to support the Section of Gastroenterology at the University of Chicago Medical Center. Dollars raised through annual campaign drives, capital campaigns, and our annual fundraising gala all go directly to the GI Section for clinical and laboratory research. In an era when government and other funding sources are declining, GIRF funding supports research projects, laboratory equipment and renovation, Fellowship training and recruitment efforts; and contributes key support for vital research.
